CELDI-Liberia runs a Youth Empowerment Program focused on the holistic development of underprivileged youth  (boys and girls) from slum communities, emphasizing education, leadership, mentorship and skills training. This comprehensive initiative includes a dedicated girls' empowerment component aimed at improving education access and life skills. 

The girls empowerment program focuses on the holistic development for underprivileged girls, utilizing safe spaces to provide education and awareness on sexual and reproductive health, decision-making, and gender rights. The program also equips participants with life skills, including entrepreneurship and vocational training in areas such as sewing, soap-making, pastry, and Tie & Dye.  We also offer financial literacy training and microloans to support their startups. This approach aims to break the cycle of poverty and raise a generation of skilled, informed, and confident young women.

Additionally, the program offers life skills training to increase their economic independence and reduce school drop-out rates, ultimately raising a new generation of servant-leaders to proactively transform their lives, families, and communities.
